Introduction Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) is the most common chronic rheumatic disease of unknown etiology that affect children. According to definition JIA, begins before age 16 and lasts more than 6 weeks. The International League Associations for Rheumatology (ILAR) has divided juvenile into seven categories: systemic, oligoarticular, polyarticular RF (-), (+), psoriatic, enthesitis-related undifferentiated arthritis. Purpose aim this review present classification, etiopathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment complications Methods Literature searches in PubMed, Google Scholarship, open source books were used gather information. Results Complex interactions between cells immune system are responsible pathophysiology JIA indicate need divide clinical subtypes, heterogeneity which requires different therapeutic actions. There many groups drugs with mechanisms action including: T lymphocyte inhibitors, anti-TNFα, JAK IL-1 IL-6 blockers. Despite great progress commitment scientists, there still no strategy completely stop development disease. Conclusions Scientific research conducted around world led recognition numerous pathways leading formation inflammatory process symptoms JIA.
